What to Bring
Here are suggestions of what to bring. As a reminder, please bring what is necessary. UC is within walking distance to numerous stores. You are moving into a relatively small space, so don't bring too much at once!
Bedroom: Bedding, hangers, and pillows
Bathroom: Toiletries, towels, and shower curtain/liner
Kitchen: Dishware, cooking utensils, and large trash can
Living Room: Television, streaming devices, and throws

Leave at Home
Please do not bring the following items. This is for the safety of our residents, staff, & guests.
- Personal bed frame, mattress, or water beds
- Extra furniture (mattress, couches, futons, desk, etc.)
- Pets (Excluding Approved Emotional Support/Service Animals)
- Nails, screws, double-sided tape, or a staple gun
- TV wall mounts
- LED light strips
- Weapons, firearms, or explosive devices (including props/toys)
- Fireworks/sparklers
- Power strips/appliances that are not UL certified
- Halogen lamps, sun lamps
- Lofts (Unless Rented from UC)
- Illegal medications/drugs
- Refrigerators larger than 5.8 cubic ft. or higher than 700W
- Dart boards, darts, paintball guns, water guns, etc.
- Alcoholic beverages (under 21 or attending a dry campus), containers, and other paraphernalia (hookah, vapes, etc.)
- Open flame items (candles, incense, oil lamps, etc.)
- Appliances with open coils, burners (Air Fryers, Hot plates, etc.) or higher than 700W
- No electric vehicles (hoverboards, electric scooters/bicycles, etc.)
Any items listed found onsite will be confiscated.
Move-In Day
Here's a list of items that will be helpful when you are moving into University Center.
- Check In Pass: Confirmation Number/QR Code (Fall Move-In Only)
- Government Issued Photo ID
- Helper's Government Issued Photo ID
- Credit/debit card for parking
- Cart/dolly (if bringing heavy items)
